Canada loses world junior gold medal to Russia

Canada has lost 5-3 to Russia at the World Junior Hockey Championships. It was

a dissapointing loss, because Canada had been leading 3-0 through the second period.

But then Russia scored 4 goals in twelve minutes in the third period. It's like

Canada didn't come to play in the third period.

The loss must have been especially dissapointing for Canadian Forward Jaden

Schwartz, whose sister Mandi is battling cancer. Not only that, Schwartz broke his

ankle early in the tournament, plus his team lost.

I hope that Mandi pulls through her battle with cancer. I feel bad for the whole

Canadian team right now, but I especially feel bad for Jaden because of what he and

his family are going through with his sister.
