Mike Fisher traded to Nashville

Senators forward Mike Fisher has been traded to the Nashville Predators. The trade

was announced on Thursday. Fisher spent 10 seasons with the Senators. He was a

pillar in the community, being involved with Rogers' House from day one, and having

his own hockey school for less fortunate kids. Mike was a devout Christian.

Fisher told www.ottawasenators.com "leaving is very hard for sure. It's a bit of a

shock. I'm still trying to process everything. Not sure if it's set in yet. I wish

that I could have done more here. I wanted to be part of everything here, but it

wasn't meant to be."

Last summer, Fisher married country music superstar Carrie Underwood. Carrie

Underwood lives in Nashville.
