Meeting Hayley Wickenheiser

I was lucky enough to meet Hayley Wickenheiser after the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, Italy. Wickenheiser came to Ottawa to sign autographs at Booster Juice, a healthy drink shop with which she had a contract at the time. She wrote "To Haley, Good Luck!" on the picture that she autographed. Hayley Wickenheiser is the only player from any women's team that I've had the chance to meet in person. My dad got me an autograph from Katie Weatherston, a member of Canada's 2006 Olympic gold-medal- winning team. Katie wrote "To Haley, Follow Your Dreams!" on the piece of paper that she signed.
