Hockey Stories: part 3

Three seasons ago, my dad and I travelled to Chicago to watch the Blackhawks play. We were in Chicago for two days. The first day we were there, we were getting lost on our way to the practice facility. Guess who was behind us in his car? Andrew Ladd, now a member of the Winnipeg Jets. After the practice was done, we were waiting around for autographs, and I ended up getting Brian Campbell's autograph.
The next day, we saw Andrew Ladd on our way to the United Centre. We had arrived early for the game so we could autographs from some players. I think I got Nikolai Khabibulin's autograph before the game. Unfortunately, the Blackhawks were thumped
5-0 by their ultimate rival, the Vancouver Canucks. After the game, we got many autographs from the players, including one of my favourite players in the entire NHL, Jonathan Toews. When we told Jonathan Toews that we had travelled from Ottawa to see the game, he said "Sorry to disappoint".
