Sidney Crosby named NHL's first star of the week

According to the CBC website, Sidney Crosby has been named the NHL's first star of the week. He is currently on a 15-game point streak. Behind Sidney Crosby are Buffalo's Ryan Miller and Edmonton's Taylor Hall, earning second and third stars respectively. Crosby has five goals and one assist in three games. Miller stopped all 51 shots he faced in the past week.
Hall recorded four goals in as many games last week, which led to the Oilers three
game sweep of Eastern Canada and a season-long four game winning streak.
