Ben Eager's Day with The Stanley Cup

Former Chicago Blackhawk Ben Eager brought the Stanley Cup to his hometown of Ottawa today. I got a chance to get a picture with Ben and The Stanley Cup, but unfortunately Ben had his head turned in the photo.



I know it's not the best picture of me either because I don't have much of a smile on my face and my head is titled. However, it's still cool that I got a picture with
Ben Eager and The Stanley Cup.

At the beginning of the ceremony, Ottawa mayor Larry O' Brien gave Ben Eager a special coin. Mayor O'Brien also called Eager an "agent of change". O'Brien also said "Look what he brought to the city!"

I think it is unfortunate that Eager was traded to the Atlanta Thrashers, because if he was still with the Chicago Blackhawks, the day would have been even more fun.
